Following the footsteps of the anthology series Batman: Urban Legends and the special issue of DC Pride, which focused on several of DC Comics’ LGBTQ characters, the publisher announced that the Teen Wonder will star in his own ongoing series this fail, with Tim Drake: Robin. This marks the first time the character has lead his own solo series since 2011
The new series will follow the storyline piloted in Batman: Urban Legends, which saw acknowledge his bisexuality as he began a relationship with his friend Bernard. The series, written by Meghan Fitzmartin and illustrated by Harley Quinn artist Riley Rossmo, will center on Tim as he attempts to solve a mystery over a year in the making.
Tim Drake: Robin will also introduce a new rogue, who has been watching Tim and Bernard from afar. Unfortunately for the couple, this new threat seems poised to get up close and personal

In honor the 90’s Robin’s return, Tim Drake: Robin #1 will feature variant covers from a host of fan favorite artists: Jorge Jimenez, Dan Mora and Jamal Campbell. Ricardo Lopez Ortiz will provide the art for the standard cover.
