Iron Man And Hellcat Hitched!?

MCU fans may know Pepper Potts as Tony Starks on-again, off-again redheaded Paramore but things have been a little different on the pages of Marvel Comics as of late. In the current volume, Tony Stark began a relationship with friend and occasional Avenger Patsy Walker AKA Hellcat.

Now, it seems that after battling a broken neck, relapse and a battle with a would be technological God, the pair may be ready to take their relationship to the next level…maybe.

Granted, we don’t know whether Patsy will accept the proposal or if it will even stick. Marvel has been notoriously finicky when it comes to long-term relationships and their heroes. Marriage and Marvel have had more ups and downs than your average DCEU film production and that’s not something I’m inclined to say lightly.

IF (and that’s a big if) the relationship does evolve in this direction, It will be Tony Stark’s first successful marriage but the thrid for Ms. Walker, who was most recently married to Daimon Helstrom, the Son of Satan.

“Since Issue #1, bringing Patsy Walker/Hellcat into this story just felt right.” Writer Christopher Cantwell said in the announcement for the upcoming Iron Man #20, “She was the perfect kind of grounded presence in Tony Stark’s hyper-octane world that I believed could help bring more balance to his life.”

Iron Man #20 goes on sale on May 11
